Nestled beneath the majestic slopes of Mount Kenya, this beautifully restored ranch offers an authentic African safari experience where timeless charm, breathtaking scenery, and exceptional wildlife combine to create an unforgettable escape. Originally built in the 1940s by Italian artisans, the historic ranch house has been thoughtfully renovated to accommodate up to 14 guests, with additional accommodation available on request.

Set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, four charming guest cottages enjoy spectacular views across the vast Laikipia Plateau. Guests can relax by the inviting swimming pool, enjoy a game of tennis, stroll through the organic vegetable garden, or visit the stable yard, home to 30 well-trained safari horses. Situated at an altitude of 5,500 feet, the ranch enjoys a pleasant year-round climate and lies in a malaria-free region, making it an ideal destination for families and adventure seekers alike.

Accommodation

Accommodation is designed to offer both comfort and privacy, with four twin rooms and three double rooms, each featuring an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda overlooking the surrounding wilderness.

The spacious Family Cottage can be configured as either a two- or three-bedroom unit, comfortably accommodating up to seven guests. It includes a double bedroom with an interconnecting twin or triple room and a private bathroom with a bathtub, making it ideal for families.

For couples seeking a romantic retreat, the secluded Italian Cottage offers complete privacy within its own garden. The largest accommodation on the property, it features a spacious bedroom, walk-through dressing area, and an elegant bathroom with twin basins, a separate shower, and a luxurious bathtub.

The ranch is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, thriving across its varied habitats. Guests can encounter elephant, hippo, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, kudu, oryx, impala, warthog, and an impressive variety of birdlife, along with smaller species such as bat-eared foxes, serval cats, and genets.

Explore this remarkable landscape on expertly guided day and night game drives in custom-designed 4x4 vehicles, or experience the bush on foot with an armed professional guide. Horseback safaris offer a unique perspective, allowing guests to ride amongst the wildlife for a few hours or embark on an exhilarating multi-day horseback adventure. Cycling safaris provide another exciting way to discover the ranch while appreciating the smaller details often missed from a vehicle.

Additional activities include camel trekking, fly camping beneath the stars, fishing, waterfall jumping, river tubing, kayaking, and experiencing daily life on a working cattle ranch. Signature Horse Safaris
