Bateleur Camp offers timeless views across the boundless plains of the Masai Mara, known to the Maasai as the spotted land. The savanna surrounding the camp is dotted with distinctive balanites trees and opens onto uninterrupted grassy plains. Guests can relax on the private deck of their tent, beside the swimming pool, enjoy a wellness treatment or sip a cocktail at the G and T bar.
Located on a private concession, the camp offers exclusive experiences including breakfasts in the wild, sundowners in open landscapes, bush dinners under star filled skies, guided bush walks and memorable safari game drives with abundant wildlife.
Evoking the romance of Kenyan safaris of the 1920s and 1930s, Bateleur Camp is an intimate and elegant tented retreat set among forest at the edge of the Masai Mara. Each camp features nine Luxury Tents, including a Luxury Family Tent, ideal for couples, families and multigenerational travel. Personalised Kenyan hospitality, daily tailored experiences and thoughtful touches such as Swarovski Optik binoculars and a safari theatre elevate every stay.
The Luxury Tents are classically styled with handcrafted artefacts, fine antiques and Chesterfield sofas. Each tent includes an ensuite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a star bath with sky views, a spacious private deck with a daybed overlooking the plains, and a personal bar and coffee station.
