Ol Pejeta Bush Camp

Set beside the Ewaso Ngiro River with wonderful views towards Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp offers an authentic East African safari experience in one of Kenya’s most important conservation landscapes. With elephants sometimes wandering through camp and birdsong filling the trees, nature is very much part of everyday life here.

The camp has ten spacious canvas tents, including two family tents, each with an en-suite bathroom, hot running water and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Days begin with fresh coffee and the sounds of the bush, while evenings are spent around the campfire with a drink, listening to the calls of lions across the plains.

Set within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the camp provides access to a rich variety of habitats and exceptional wildlife viewing. The conservancy is home to the Big Five and more than 300 bird species, but is particularly celebrated for its pioneering rhino conservation. It protects the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa and is home to the world’s last two northern white rhinos.

Safari here can extend well beyond traditional game drives. Guests can learn about the conservancy’s canine anti-poaching teams, take part in lion monitoring and discover the remarkable conservation work taking place across Ol Pejeta. There is also plenty of time simply to enjoy the wilderness, whether watching elephants pass through camp or taking in the views towards Mount Kenya.
