Mara & Ndutu Tented Camp
Moving north and south with the seasons, Mara & Ndutu Tented Camp follows the magnificent wildebeest migration year-round.
An authentic mobile tented camp operates between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the northern Serengeti, following the path of the Wildebeest Migration to offer exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year. From December to March the camp is set in the Ndutu region, where vast grassy plains attract tens of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. By February the calving season brings dramatic scenes as predators gather in high numbers. Between June and October the camp moves north near the Mara River and Maasai Mara, where herds mass along the riverbanks before crossing crocodile filled waters in one of nature’s most striking spectacles.
The camp offers an intimate and comfortable safari experience with spacious tents furnished with double or queen size beds, including family tents with two bedrooms. Each tent features an en suite bathroom with a flush toilet and hot shower, supported by solar power with a backup generator. Guests enjoy a welcoming lounge and dining area with a bar, stylish interiors, and evenings spent around the campfire sharing stories of the day’s sightings. Expert guided game drives, full day safari options with picnic meals, freshly prepared cuisine, and thoughtful amenities such as complimentary drinks, Wi Fi, laundry and charging facilities ensure a seamless stay. Easily accessible via nearby airstrips, this mobile camp combines authentic wilderness immersion with comfort, placing guests in the heart of the migration at the most rewarding moments.

Why this Camp..?
(According to Google Reviews)
Lemala Ndutu Tented Camp receives high praise for its prime, remote location in the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, specifically for viewing the Great Migration. Guests consistently highlight the friendly staff, comfortable "glamping" tents with hot showers, and great food. It offers an authentic bush experience with wildlife passing nearby.
Lemala Mara Tented Camp (Northern Serengeti) generally receives stellar reviews for its authentic, "under canvas" experience combined with high-quality comfort, warm service, and prime locations for the Great Migration. Guests frequently praise the attentive staff, delicious food, comfortable beds, and exciting wildlife sightings within the camp.
Key Highlights:
Prime Location (known for peak migration in early months), providing access to cheetahs, lions, and vast herds of wildebeest.
Luxury Tent Features: Comfortable, spacious tents with wood floors, en-suite bathrooms, and hot water.
Exceptional Staff: Many reviews highlight the attentive and welcoming nature of the staff, such as Managers Ebenezer and Praygod.
Authentic Atmosphere: Evenings often feature meals around a communal table or campfires.
Considerations:
Seasonal Nature: The camp is temporary and designed to be close to the migration, so facilities are designed for easy assembly/disassembly.
Amenities: This is a luxury bush camp, not a concrete hotel. Services like WiFi and charging points are generally in common areas, not in the rooms, though this is expected for the location.
