Kleins Camp
Set in the private concession on the Kuka Hills bordering both The Serengeti & Masai Mara, Klein's Camp is a classic safari camp with thatched roofs steeped in Maasai tradition.
Klein’s Camp is situated on the only concession that borders both the Serengeti and the Masai Mara national parks, offering sweeping panoramic views across two of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, the camp overlooks an exquisite landscape of wooded hillsides, rolling grasslands, and forested riverbanks, all alive with abundant wildlife and part of one of the greatest wildlife migrations on earth.
Located within a private concession blessed with an exceptional year round concentration of animals, the camp offers a truly exclusive safari experience. Sensitive off road driving allows for close wildlife encounters, while bush walks and night drives reveal the finer details of the African wilderness. Regular lion pride sightings are enjoyed without the presence of other vehicles, and nocturnal safaris provide rare insight into the secretive world of predators after dark.
Many of the camp’s staff are Maasai, with more than ninety percent drawn from the surrounding communities, creating an authentic cultural connection throughout your stay. Guests gain insight into Maasai culture through conversations with their guides, as well as opportunities to visit an authentic boma or local communities, schools, and clinics. These experiences offer a meaningful understanding of both traditional Maasai heritage and contemporary life.
Klein’s Camp consists of just ten intimate cottages built from local stone and makuti thatch, featuring rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom and a private veranda, where guests can relax with a drink from their personal bar while taking in the extraordinary views across the valley.
