Ewanjan Tented Camp
An authentic intimate tented camp set in the Seronera Valley in The Central Serengeti, Ewanjan Tented Camp is close to the big cat action and the central migration of the wildebeest land crossings.
Ewanjan Tented Camp is an intimate and authentic tented camp set in a secluded part of the game rich Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti National Park. This region is an important wildlife transition zone between the southern grasslands and northern woodlands, renowned for its year round game viewing thanks to permanent water sources and thriving populations of resident big cats.
Between April and June, and again from November to January, the valley is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration, bringing dramatic and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
The camp is carefully positioned at the end of a sheltered valley, ensuring uninterrupted views across the plains with no passing vehicles. Evenings are especially atmospheric, with clear sunsets and no artificial lights to disturb the natural setting.
There are 14 spacious en suite tents, each designed for comfort and privacy, with private decks overlooking the surrounding landscape. Tents are furnished with two queen size beds, warm duvets, a flush toilet, shower, wooden flooring and storage, as well as solar powered lighting. Outdoor loungers provide the perfect spot to enjoy early morning tea or coffee and refreshing afternoon drinks.
The central mess tent includes a separate bar, lounge, and dining area, all tastefully furnished with leather sofas, rugs, and traditional chests. In the evening, guests can relax indoors beneath chandeliers or gather outside around the campfire under starlit skies, enjoying sunset cocktails and sharing stories from the day’s safari.
The camp offers 12 tents with two double beds, with triple arrangements available on request. Two tents feature two bedrooms, making them ideal for families or groups traveling together. Additional amenities include en suite bathrooms, solar electricity with backup generator, complimentary internet, and limited laundry services. Charging facilities are available in the lounge, bar, and tents.
Game drives are conducted in custom designed four by four vehicles. The nearest airstrip is Seronera Airstrip, approximately a 30 minute drive away. Complimentary drinks are included, excluding premium wines and spirits. Children are welcome; further information is available for family friendly experiences.
