Rra Dinare Camp

Rra Dinare Camp

On the Gomoti River, Rra Dinare Camp is a classic-style safari camp near the Moremi Game Reserve in The Okavango Delta in Botswana

Authentic, unpretentious and full of character, Rra Dinare offers a down to earth safari experience in a private concession on the southern edge of Moremi Game Reserve. Once used for controlled hunting, the area has been transformed into a low impact, high value photographic safari destination that benefits both wildlife and the local community.

Rra Dinare offers a varied landscape of woodland, seasonal waterways and floodplains, creating excellent opportunities to see leopard, large buffalo herds and the lions that often follow them. Game drives and wildlife viewing from the camp’s raised deck provide memorable opportunities to experience this predator rich wilderness.

The camp has eight canvas suites and one family unit, each with a private deck overlooking a waterhole or river channel. Spacious interiors, outdoor showers, ceiling fans and thoughtful amenities provide comfortable accommodation, while the open sided lounge, dining area, firepit and swimming pool offer beautiful views across the Delta.

Powered entirely by solar energy and operated in partnership with the local Sankuyo community, Rra Dinare is part of a conservation focused approach to tourism. Local employment, skills development and community investment help ensure that the benefits of safari are shared beyond the camp.

With limited connectivity and a strong sense of place, Rra Dinare is an ideal choice for travellers looking for an authentic Botswana safari with exceptional wildlife and a meaningful conservation story.
