Mbamba Camp is a classic safari camp set within the private NG12 concession in the northern Okavango Delta, an area known for excellent year round wildlife viewing and a rich mix of land and water based safari experiences. Inspired by Ralph Bousfield’s timeless safari style, the camp combines exceptional guiding with a relaxed and immersive atmosphere.
The camp features 12 spacious canvas tents set beneath large leadwood trees, each designed with vintage safari touches including Persian rugs, mahogany furniture, and four poster beds. Guests can enjoy en suite bathrooms, private verandas overlooking the Delta, and comfortable spaces to unwind between activities.
At the heart of camp, the main area offers open lounges, a small library, a swimming pool, and communal dining that creates a warm and sociable atmosphere. Days are spent exploring the surrounding wilderness with expert guides, while evenings end around the firepit beneath the stars.
