4 Rivers Camp is a Classic Safari Camp overlooking the permanent Tsum Tsum River, an untouched wilderness in The Okavango Delta, Botswana
Hidden for decades behind deep water crossings and ancient bush paths, the remote Tsum Tsum floodplains were once accessible only to a handful of experienced hunters and trackers. The opening of a dedicated airstrip in 2023 has made this remarkable corner of the Okavango Delta accessible to adventurous travellers seeking one of Botswana’s wildest safari experiences.
4 Rivers Camp sits on the banks of the remote Tsum Tsum River, where wetlands, waterways, open floodplains and forested islands come together. The western floodplains provide excellent opportunities for off road game drives and predator tracking, while the river and surrounding islands are ideal for mokoro excursions and guided walking safaris.
The camp is intimate and comfortable, with eight tented suites and one family suite. Each has an elevated private deck overlooking the river, spacious interiors, en suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, and thoughtful touches including charging points, tea and coffee facilities and mosquito nets.
Walking safaris are a particular strength, with the nearby Maboa Island providing an excellent setting for guided bush walks and birdwatching.
