Set within the vast wilderness of the Etosha Heights Private Reserve, Etosha Mountain Lodge is a classic Namibian safari lodge with a wonderfully established sense of place. Each chalet has sweeping 180-degree views across the plains, along with an en-suite bathroom, indoor shower and large bathtub. Wildlife is the main attraction, with morning and afternoon game drives exploring the private reserve. Etosha Heights is particularly known for its populations of black and white rhino, while lion, leopard, cheetah and elephant are regularly encountered alongside kudu, springbok and other plains game. One of the most memorable experiences comes after dark, when guests can sit quietly at the waterhole and watch rhino emerge from the darkness to drink beneath the stars.
