Fly into the heart of Nyerere National Park, where your guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to Roho ya Selous, a beautifully positioned camp on a small peninsula overlooking Lake Nzerakera.
As the largest protected reserve in Africa, Nyerere is a vast and wild landscape teeming with life - including wild dog, elephant, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, hyena, and over 400 species of birds. Roho ya Selous offers a truly uncrowded safari experience, ideal for those seeking both adventure and tranquility in nature.
Spend your days exploring the waterways with boating safaris, the surrounding plains through walking excursions, or even trying your hand at fishing. After a day of discovery, cool off in the pool or unwind in the open-sided lounge, enjoying the breeze and the sounds of the bush. Day 11: After a final delicious breakfast in camp and heartfelt goodbyes to your guide and fellow travellers, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, where you’ll connect with your onward travel.
